WORKING PRINCIPLE OF TURNOUTThe train is composed of a set of tracks to the device of another set of orbits.

CLASSIFICATION OF TURNOUTTurnout is an important equipment to realize the conversion of railway track, and widely exists in railway line.
The common types of turnout are single turnout, equilateral turnout, three-way turnout and multi-turnout compound turnout, and so on.
The main line of a single turnout is a straight line, the side line from the main line to the left or right turnout, also known as left turnout and right turnout.
The double-opening turnout is y-shaped, I. E. The two branches connected with the turnout are bifurcated to both sides.
The three-way turnout looks like an Ψ-shaped, while connecting the three-way, two groups of mechanical switch to operate two sets of sharp rails.
The compound turnout looks like an x-shaped turnout, which is actually a combination of four single turnout sets and a pair of diamond crossings.
In addition, there is a cross-cutting equipment, usually used in a diamond-shaped cross. It consists of two groups of acute and two groups of obtuse-angle frog, but there is no switch, so the strands can not be diverted.
If the top two points and the bottom two points of the x shape of a compound turnout are connected respectively, it is the crossing line. It can not only open more directions, but also take up less land, so often used in the station.
