TDR601 new Rail Retarder (hereinafter referred to as Retarder) is designed to meet the performance parameters in TB / T2460-93 standard basis, security Installation, maintenance convenience as the main design direction, and its features are the following aspects:

2. The quality of retarder is 6.9 kg, light weight, greatly reducing the workload of maintenance personnel to install and maintenance.
3. The abolition of the traditional mushroom head, avoid topping phenomenon, longer life, saving the maintenance workload and maintenance costs.
4. Hand in hand with a ring seal cover, easy accessibility, to extend the service life of the sealing cap.
Heavy duty, single acting, serviceable damper designed to slow the return of the wing rail on spring frog switches. Spring frog switches are usually remotely located. The spring loaded wing rail is biased to the main track, so as the wheels of trains approaching on the side track hit the wing rail, it springs open to allow the train through. The damper slows the return of the rail for about 30 seconds thus reducing the number of wheel/rail impacts and so reducing wheel/rail wear.
